Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks will re-unite for a second world war 2 mini seres called The Pacific. It follows the history of Wold War 2 in the Pacific. Just as Band of Brothers did in Europe.

It is now possible to see the first trailer with footage from the upcoming series.

Look for it in 2010 on HBO and later that year on DVD & Blu-ray.

This is AWESOME news!!! Love the original but I only wished I waited to get it on Boooo Ray instead of SDVD even though the SDVD looks great.

I will be buying this one for sure. Band of Brothers was top notch from story to production so you know The Pacific will be also.
